I'm trying to set up a long term lab for CUCM. It's my understanding that CUCM 8.6 is the last version that the eval license didn't expire. The company I work for wants me to build a lab of one CM running on 8.6. I have a Cisco log in but I can't for the life of me find where I go to download an eval license. Can someone help this lost person. I will show you here how to install the Cisco Unified Communication Manager 8.6 in a very small step. I have a small lab that contain VMWare Machine with ESXI 5.0, Cisco Router that act as an NTP Server you could exchange this by your laptob windows timer and a Switch that all this item connected too. First prepare your VMWare.
Now i test run Cisco CUCM, and can not run CUCM on VirtualBox 4.2.4r81684 ver. I am add this section on .vbox xml file and starting this VirtualBox virtual machine, this data is purged from xml (.vbox file), and CUCM can not check hardware and discharge installation.
